So can you, for similar reasons. If your face is submerged in warm water, the 'diving reflex' takes over and your heart rate and blood pressure drop, just as the dolphins do. 5 mins is hard, but not impossible. Also, they have fins, which help get around. You just languish at the bottom of the pool.
