Sorry had to do it, though it may seem petty. "Please help!" "Am tearing my hair out" "driving me mad" so you answer and zilch nothing nada, you don`t know if you`ve helped or not!!

Don`t mind for the common or garden odd clue, but when people make such a big deal and then no reply, you can feel a bit deflated.

If it makes me look like I am seeking recognition I apologise.

Don't apologise! I know exactly what you mean. It feels like you're left in Limbo ~ no closure!! On the other hand there are some on here who always acknowledge, which gives one a little glow!! :0)

Do you remember the star system mamyalynne where even if people didn't reply personally to you they at least gave a star rating .
I think that what probably happens now is when you ask a question and get a reply there's a thing that says "mark as best answer " .I expect a lot people use that but the answerers can't see it !

oh I am not saying its everyone by any means but as I say those who REALLY say they need help rather than just a passing query. Feel stupid now might close this, sorry. This is not in my nature.

I agree totally. It takes one second to acknowledge the answers.I find it happens more and more.It`s not as though most people on here are teenagers who tend to be rude. A quick thankyou never hurt anyone. Hope you don`t go bald, but I fear you might. Best wishes.Pea Pod.
