You don't say whether it shrinks overall or comes in vertically or horizontally. However, it is possible that you could have a soldered dry-joint on either your line or frame timebase circuitry, particularly if the monitor is a few years old. Another possibility is the monitor power supply fluctuating. Hard to say without seeing it first-hand.
Do you mean within Internet Explorer? If so you've probably got "auto-resize" images turned on. This automatically shrinks images to fit into your viewing panel. To turn it off got to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced, scroll down to Multimedia and uncheck the "Enable Automatic Image Resizing" box.
Hello again, the picture moves in from both sides, probably about a mill or two. I did what chillum suggested and for a wee while I thought it was sorted. It still does it even while on answer bank. Thanks anyway.
I think your right, when I move the monitor, thats when it happens. So I'll just have to be a wee bit more careful when moving the mouse about on the desk.
don't continue to use the monitor in this state. the bad connection is probably stressing other components. unless you get it seen to now (which ought to be a brief repair for an experienced technician), it will end up being a write off.
