Here is the full list of employed illegal immigrants.
Interesting to note that on Haringey Council, being a Traffic Warden is a very popular post for any illegal from Nigeria, except for one who refused to disclose his or hers nationality.

Have laws been broken, and if so will any action be taken?

The authorities tinker at the edges, proudly publicising the few minor achievements they gain, but for every achievement there are countless failures. Illegal immigrants are allowed to appeal their cases to the highest courts (courtesy of Legal Aid, natch) and the processes involved take years to conclude. By this time the individuals have settled here, and started family life here. So even if their residence here is subsequently ruled illegal, they then begin the process of asserting their Human Rights based on the new criterion of being entitled to a settled family life. Either that or they disappear into the ether.
It comes as no surprise that government departments and local authorities do not carry out the necessary checks. They are terrified of accusations of racism. Meanwhile British citizens here legally are made to jump through hoops before being granted any employment.
It will not change under this or any future government whilst Human Rights legislation exists in its current form. Nor will it alter whilst government is dominated by the liberal Left (which it will remain so even if the Conservatives are elected) who seem intent on protecting everybody’s rights other than those of the British.

And lets not forget many illegals are not paying tax, although I guess the Council (hopefully) is operating a PAYE
I agree immigrants who work are beneficial, however how can you have someone upholding the law (a trafic warden) when they themselves are breaking it.
The immigration policy under Noo labour is a shambles and together with the HRA (introduced to line Blair and his misuses pockets) is a total disater, as earlier pointed out

..... and here's a bit more material to get our regular contributors on this subject rattling their cages - UKBA recently lost an Appeal against the upholding of a Failed Asylum Seeker's right to work in the UK.
(But remember, a Failed Asylum Seeker is NOT the same thing as an illegal immigrant)
The case has now gone to the Supreme Court - whence the Daily Mail will eventually get around the reoprting it.
Meanwhile, the UK can't deport some FAS, and they can't force them out by denying them the right to work legally. Happy Days.

/// Now we know how to avoid a ticket being issued. Threaten to have the warden deported. Should work every time ! ///
Not so, why do you think that they have picked Nigerians, for traffic wardens?
Any argument with them, and they will soon shout 'Racism' and you will finish up with much more than a parking ticket.

Obviously, you didn't watch the CH4 documentary, "Confessions Of A Traffic Warden" last year.
Here's a synopsis (another example of white racism, casually ignored in order to make an invalid point? Yep...different year, same song):
Another man at bruising war with the world around him was richly observed in Olly Lambert’s powerful Confessions of a Traffic Warden, which followed the journey of Durga, originally from Nepal, to becoming a warden in Westminster. He began, brimming with excitement about the job being a means to discovering what was so great about his beloved Britain; he would see the foundations of the nation he so admired. By the end — after being abused, ridiculed and having the spectre of ticket targets to meet — he was sitting in the park, questioning the meaning of life and misquoting his touchstone, Shakespeare: “To issue or not to issue a PCN? That is the question”.
It was heartbreaking and shaming, especially as we saw over and over again the most disgusting, virulent racism (“F*** off you coon”) and rudeness directed at the wardens. But this was a documentary of many layers, and Lambert also revealed a genuine reason to dislike traffic wardens unconnected to where they came from: many seem to be in a demented race to hand out as many tickets as possible. Despite not being able to operate his ticketing machinery, despite his bafflement at the punitive principle of his job, Durga earned his spurs and got the job. But you saw his soul die a thousand howling deaths.
