Should these marchers be arrested?

Isn't this march (if it goes ahead) an ideal opportunity under the anti-terrorism laws, to round up and arrest all those on the march?
At least the police will know that all those taking part are anti-British extremists, so therefore potential terrorists.

Let anyone opposed to these extremists go along and have a discussion with them then these despicable people will feel the full force, perhaps literally, of people's anger and disgust at them. Any marchers left standing at the end should be deported to Afghanistan, as they obviously feel so strongly about the place.
Obviously that wont happen, but it's a nice thought.

Seeing as what is being suggested is physical force "...feel the full force, perhaps literally..." and "any marchers left standing..." well so the attackers should be arrested - hating what someone believes and stands for is not justification for physical attacks, and will only exacerbate the problem and expedite the radicalisation of others.
Just seen on BBC News just now, seven Muslim protesters who called British soldiers 'muderers' last year (we all know the story), are up in court under incitement to racial hatred charges.
This being the case, doesn't the idea that critcs of them are automatically called 'racists' is not actually true?

By the way, can anyone explain how exactly the British government are going to deport protesters who are demonstrating against the so-called 'war on terror'?
This is especially odd seeing as much of the right wing press agree that the invasion of Iraq was illegal and a travesty of international law.
Where should the right wingers be sent to???

There should be empty streets and not a hint of them on the news if they are allowed to do it.
But we all know the media can't help themselves. And at the end of the day this group has said thats what they are going for. The media attention.
Islam4UK, which has been linked to the radical al-Muhajiroun movement, said the town was chosen to create maximum publicity. BBC web site.

I think if the protest were to be banned the only correct reason would be that public order may be breached. Because it's such a highly sensitive area, there is a possibility that a rival protest would be organized, and if so, fighting would almost inevitably break out.
For the same reason, far right groups shouldn't be allowed to march through Notting Hill during the carnival. Both situations would be deliberately provocative.
By merely suggesting a march through WB, the organizers are trying to stir up trouble. Protest yeah, but don't try to spark something off. That's nothing to do with free speech.
