why don't they march in london ?

There's is a double edged sword ankou, they say they want to march to pay tribute to the Muslims who have fallen, but they are also wanting to take an opportunity to berate the British Government and our troops that are there as we speak, I will never understand how people who were born here want to bite off the hand that's feeding them, we educated these people...have they no jobs? to be able to travel so freely to the Yemen and Pakistan, they have dual nationality so if there hatred is so deep against the west they could go to their Mother country, and I think moving the "march" to London is just moving the problem, I suppose one way of showing distaste would be for the gentle folk of Wooten Basset to line the route with their backs turned, perhaps show the marchers the soul of their shoes, a symbol of disgust in lots of Muslim countries...but Alas, that would never happen, the people of WB didn't ask for notoriety for their little town, they chose to pay homage to all fallen servicemen and women in a dignified way, a lesson that these people who are set to use the town for propaganda purposes...could learn from

the group has a history of announcing inflammatory events and then cancelling them so it is not likely anyway. its membership is also thought to be less than 50 people so it would be more of a single file queue than a "march".
the one thing they have managed to do is grab the headlines and start the mouth-frothing, which i suspect is their main aim.

As much as I do not like the idea of the march, to not allow it to take place, would go against the (albeit limited) freedom of expression that we have, and should value in this country - the same laws enabled the march against the Iraq war, the countryside march, etc and we cannot pick or choose which marches are right and which are wrong or we will undermine all the civil liberties that we enjoy.
Islam4UK know exactly what they are doing in proposing this march through WB - and I personally think that the best way to deal with it is to not give them the oxygen of publicity that they so obviously crave - the earlier point about bystanders just turning their backs is, I think, the best thing that can be done - any jeering or protests against it will just confirm their beliefs that this is an inherently racist country and that they are a victimised group who are therefore justified in their actions and protests - whereas ignoring it will harm them more than anything...as difficult as that may be - but then the people of WB have already consistently shown their fortitude and dignity so I hope that they are able to do that once more.
And on the positive side, it will make it easier for the security services to know who to watch in future as anyone warped enough to think this march is the right idea in the right place maybe needs watching in future.

Our soldiers who are killing Afghans
Tell me how many Afghan civillians have been killed by our soldiers and maybe I'll agree.
But you can't can you?
We don't even count them.
Incidently Anjem Choudary is the son of a Welling market trader - do you want to extradite him back to Bexley?
Or did you all just assume he wasn't British? - Or think that it didn't count because he had a foreign name and was opposing the war?

I wander about the people of this country that just lie down and get shafted, nobody seems to have any pride anymore and if they do then they are branded as a racist or BNP supporter, I just think that supporting our soldiers should be the priority here and imagine how they would feel coming home to see a march of this nature?
As Norman Tebbitt said most immigrant Muslims fail the cricket analogy. Support for our soldiers in Iraq or Aghanistan is virtually nil. They abhor being part of the English setup. Our politicians are at fault for not considering this when waging a war in Muslim countries and allowing our borders to be so porous as to let those with a different ideaology threaten our way of life.
They should realise their mistakes and deport those who will create havoc and try to blacken our soldiers courage. British human rights should take preference over this hatefull mob.
