windows xp error code 768

often my computer freezes and i cannot use the flight simulator anymore as the box appears saying 'system has recovered from a serious error' and the error code is always 768. what the hell is this and can it be fixed? if there is an answer,laymans terms please .i'm not a computer geek!!

Switch off System Restore (temporarily) (Control Panel/System Restore) Reboot
Do a FULL system Virus scan and look for problems (you may be infected .. just may)
Go to Windows update and make sure you have latest updates, especially Service Packs
Restore System Restore function.
Clean up all the Temp Folders and Internet Cache (search Google about cleaning up)

If persists, get someone to look at, as system may be trying to write a dump file and that's too complicated to sort here!

PS ... and check those other links on the page .. and follow them. You need to scan and clean before anything else.
