... that Bob the Ferret has died.
Some of you may remember his illness and unfortunate circumstances in the latter part of 2009.
Bless him. I had grown quite fond of the thought of him, even though previously ferrets had not been my most favourite of creatures after the unfortunate incident on the farm with Bruno and the tin of Chappie. Condolences to Josephine, she is bereft.

Oh, that is sad. I had been following his treatment and, I assumed, recovery.

My condolences to Josephine.

Spare Ed.
My sincerest condolences. For any true animal lover, their furry friends are one of the family.

Should it be stickied for a couple of hours? Or is that too much attention? Etiquette in these matters is particularly difficult.

Yes, I so agree SpareEd. I've never encountered the demise of such a well-loved ferret before. Some of our farm ferrets died, but I can't in all honesty say they were grieved over. They were evil. (One was actually renamed Evil Kinevil).

What is the etiquette in these circumstances?

And who said that We over on CB here, have no heart ?!!
my condolonces to all bobs family....
Condolences to Josephine, how very sad.
Thanks Salla,
It has been a really bad few days for us, Emma bobs girlfriend is really out of sorts she walks around looking for him making noises to call him which is really sad to watch, Kate my daughter did not have a panick attack last night for the first time so that was good, The house feels really empty as we lived our life around the little chappy for so long there is nothing to do but everywhere you look there is something of bobs. Doc has offered to do a tribute for him which is a lovely idea but i cant look at any pics at the moment but when i can i will ask him he has been so kind.
On a lighter note i have been intouch with guildford ferret rescue and we have decided that we are going to rescue another unwanted polecat ferret we are going to hopefully get him in a few weeks we need to make sure that emma is fit and healthy before introducing a new boyfriend to her, he will aparently be the one she chooses so i think she will have fun that day.
Thanks to everyone who has thought of the little man but he did have such a character he was unwrapping the christmas presents quicker than what we were christmas day, and i do have some lovely memories of him, Got to go im off with the tears agin, ( sillly moo)
