just wondered if any body else has had any other experiences like me..
ok so a couple of months back i was sitting at my desk. i do wear glasses but left them at home so had to go without. when suddenly i felt a jumpy feeling in my chest. Like a deep sensation.. it then was like a massive rush up into my head.. and made my eyes go all funny and i kind of stopped myself from fainting.. my tongue went all dry... and a couple of minutes later i was fine?
some people say it could of been an anxiety attack? or something to do with strain on my eyes? it was so weird? anyone ever had a weird experience?

It was very frightening at the time but I felt perfectly OK once the feeling had passed. I've also had sudden feelings of light-headednes when walking along, but not for a while now. I did wonder if it could be a virus. i don't think it's anxiety as it hit me out of the blue, and I had no cause to be anxious. I'm 61, maybe it's age. How old are you?
I didn't go to the doctor as I'm one of those people who hardly ever goes to a doctor, even when ill, though having said that, I'm making a rare visit tomorrow as I've got a "mallet finger" - self-diagnosed via the internet and apparently doesn't cure itself.

Sounds like a panic attack. I suffered the same symptoms just after I got married at the same age as you. I thought I was going to die - the doctor gave me a supply of Diazepam to take when the symptoms came on which I carried everywhere for reassurance but grew out of it eventually. It's worth seeing your doctor for an MOT and a blood pressure check.
