Howdifficult is it to ...
...make successful contact with a baseball.....Consider this...the pitcher stands 60ft 6in away from the batter (5ft 6in closer than cricket).the pitcher has an armoury of different pitches such as slider, curve,change up,knuckleball,and fast ball (up to and beyond 100mph) all designed to 'fool' the batter who has to hit this pitch into just 1/4 of the ballpark... ie a 90 degree angle...anything far left or right or behind is a 'ball' and doesnt count,and all the batter has to do is to have the incredible skill to make contact with a round ball .................using a round bat !!!!!!
