dot I'm starting to get claustrophobic.......the snow is still piled up and I've only been out once since the 18th December............
Is it too Icy to go out craft or is the Snow too deep ?.....or has your Builder Bricked your car in as he has heard of a new Romance ? We can only guess ! ;-)
Question Author
well craft it's probably safer, I've had to go out in it most days, and it's quite unnerving, we don't have the driving experience in this country for these conditions, i drive slowly on the untreated iced up side roads but there's always one eejit in a 4 x 4 thinking he's in a rally, they forget we can't just get out of their way so they can hurtle over the ice .
no never, i love it

There is going to be a knock on effect business wise for alot of people. At work we are no where near reaching targets, the weather has ruined the sales and so in the long term it will affect the staffing hours and people will have their hours cut to compensate.
the snow is a foot or so deep and the car is still buried. I know that when I can drive I need petrol urgently so I'm slightly worried about running out of petrol in this weather.
Due to my arthritis I'm not good at walking at the best of times so my daughter is petrified that I'll fall......she rang from NZ again to tell me not to go out!!

Can you get a neighbour to bring you a can of Petrol craft, just incase ?
Question Author
I would doubt your car would start now craft, are you in the AA or RAC?
lol redman......do you think Tesco will bring it with my groceries.....
Worst case scenario is that I have another week in and then the daughter is home.....at least I've food, fags, and warmth so I'm better off than a lot of other....can't even think what is happening to the poor buggers who normally sleep rough....
thanks dot.....I'm in the AA...
the people sleeping rough can build igloos and snow holes
Question Author
If it's been standing in these temperatures for so long it is unlikely to actually start, I hope it does of course, but be prepared, check you have homestart with the AA.

I think craft needs a jump start dothawkes ! Might volunteer myself . lol
Zacs the builder fitted my new drive gates to open outwards.....one of the neighbours had to shovel the snow away from the gates so I could get out with the wheelie bin!!
