halogen oven cooking

anyone out there who has problems using halogen tabletop ovens.....recipes wanted...just good basic recipes so i can start cooking

A halogen oven is just an oven - you don't need special recipes for it. The main thing to remember is that it's a fan assisted oven, so you need to knock 20 degrees (C) or so off the given temperature. The good thing is that you don't have to pre-heat. My main grumble is that it is just too small to take my usual oven dishes - so what I've done is to wash out some of those foil dishes that ready meals come in and use those - works fine. I wouldn't be without mine now, but I just treat it as a faster and more economic alternative to my big oven.

We have just bought one from U.K. Supplies Direct and to be honest I dont find it any quicker in fact quite a bit slower, what am i doing wrong? Should the food turn as it cooks?
