Digital Photography
5 Answers
I recently saw someone holding a little device on which they were flicking through a series of digital photos which they had taken. This thing definitely was not a camera, so they must have saved their images onto it.
Does anyone know what this thing was, what it can do, and where I could get one?
I'd be really interested to know if this thing could be used to save lots of digital images onto, thus enabling you to clear your memory card when on the move, but still be able to store/view images until you were able to finally save to your pc.
Thanks very much.

several of these exist. firstly is the iPod photo, with an attachment to connect straight to your camera for downloading.

also the Archos Gmini 400, Apacer CP200, etc.
according to Digital Photo Magazine, the best is the Phototainer/Flashtrax model...
