Working as a receptionist in an office with two other nearly retired "part of the furniture" women. I stuck eight weeks of them getting me to make their endless coffees and sending me out to get their lunches- I was sodding 35 not a 17 year old office junior.
I don't think I ever had a bad job, if we're talking about conditions.......the most boring job I ever had was compiling telephone directories.................
As a student, emptying huge lorry container loads of imported monkey nuts... the sacs in the last third of the containers were always rotten, resulting in having to shoulder lift bags of mushy, rotten nuts that leaked foul smelling juice all over your head and shoulders...

I've had a similar experience but I never got paid.... (Ahem, sorry everyone, I tried to resist).
I made frames and framed mirrors for a while, that was incredibly dull. Working for Ladbrokes in Peckham wasn't a heap of laughs either but generally entertaining.
Mine would have to be signing on at the job center every 2 weeks, I can tell you how bad it makes me feel, they look at you as though you are a piece of sh@t, and at the moment where i live buses are really limited to destinations so cant wait to be back on an even road and get back out there.
