There was a knock on my door just now and I was on the phone, I opened the door and two youngish fellas were there, he politley pointed to his badge which only afterward did I realize it was the RED CROSS emblem, I motioned to them I was making a call, they nodded and left, now I know what they were doing, it was for the horror that has hit Haiti, and I shooed them away, I feel sooo selfish now !
I am going to find out how to make that donation.

Or you could just make a donation like anyone else would. Say, through e-mail or phone (Whichever).
If you are really sorry, though, and want to make sure they know it was you who made the donation, just try your best...

They are cold calling at the moment to get people to sign up to making direct debit type donations only. They caught me at a bad moment but would not leave anything so I contacted Red Cross to find out what it was all about. They are not collecting money at this time.
