Exploding cats.

This is what I dreamt last night. I think the Beechams Flu Plus, on top of the ticker tablets must be making the dreams even more weird & vivid. I was at a christening party (my baby; but let's gloss over that....) & the IRA had sabotaged it by inserting explosives into all the cats in the area.
Flames, sparks & exploding cat innards all over the gaff. I managed to save the baby though.... but the buffet got wasted.

Any explanations for this one?

If I actually dared to put my dreams on here I am sure I would be sectioned!! Mind you it's quite an adventure going to bed at night and wondering what's going to happen. I have always had vivid dreams and never have a night without them. Most of them are totally sureal, but unfortunately I also suffer from dreadful nightmares and sleep paralysis!!

Oh well, such is life!!
I love cats!!!! I have terribly nighmares about them though.
Question Author
Lottie - sleep paralysis is terrifying isn't it. I've only had it 3 or 4 times, but it really shakes me up the whole of the next day.

Dreams however - great, bring them on!! Sometimes I eat cheese before bedtime deliberately.
Yep Salla, for the most part I enjoy dreaming, but as you say sleep paralysis is dreadful and some of my nightmares also shake me up and stay with me the following day.

"The exploding cats don't mean anything - just a really good idea"...

Hee Hee.. a man after my own heart!! (Sorry cat lovers)
''just a really good idea''

Agreed... and I have a shovel handy just to make sure they're properly dispatched...
Why do you take ticker tablets, Salla, if you don't mind my asking?
Question Author
A condition called Supraventricular Tachycardia.... basically an abnormality in the nerve impulses of the heart - I get erratic heartbeat, ectopics, palpitations (imagine a heart rate of 200+) !!
I've had it since I was 12, but it has worsened in the last few years and I'm due to have an op to correct it (hopefully) next month. If all goes well, I shouldn't have to take the damn tablets anymore - which is good cos I'm finding that with such a high dose these days they react with alcohol - not good! !
dreaming of cats generally symbolises feminininininity and sexual repression.

thus, them exploding can only mean one thing,
Question Author
Whoa Ankou - I'd better warn the BF then....
Blimey Salla... I had no idea !

So it's reversible with surgery? I hope it all goes well for you. It's a shame you've had to wait this long for corrective surgery.
Question Author
No-one ever mentioned it previously. I think the particular ablation procedure I'm having is relatively newish, and I used my knowledge & contacts to make sure I got the best man & the best hospital (perk of the job!!!)
Anyway, up until the last year, I would have turned surgery down anyway - I was managing quite well on medication up until then. It's deterioration as I get older I suppose.... ;-(
i think it's just telling you that you don't like cats,

Seemples.
Question Author
