spare keys for Ford Fiesta
5 Answers
When I purchased the car for my wife I was only given one key, I contacted the person who had it prior to the person who sold it to me as I wanted to get the radio code for it, (AlBags got the code for me this evening, Thanks again AlBags) The previous owner told me he had an accident and the insurance company wrote the car off and he was paid out on it, he claimed that he had given two keys plus the manual etc. to the person who collected the car from him for the insurance company. When an insurance company collect a vehicle and then sell it at auction, is there any way that I can find out which company had taken possession of the car from the previous owner, or is this protected under the data protection laws? I want to get a spare key for the car but they cost over £60 so I thouight that if I were to contact the company they may still have the key for it
