I have just noticed that one of my answers has been removed, according to the statistics on my profile. How can I tell what this was removed for? I certainly don't go abusing people, although I may make the odd tongue in cheek comment or give an aswer they may not want to hear. I would just like to understand
Possibly you posted on a thread that was removed, I think that any replies on a banned thread do count as answers removed, but I too would like that point cleared up by the ed.
I think your name has been drawn out of a hat by the Spare Ed. Every day 27 posts are removed entirely at random. This is so when the Real Ed says to him 'How's the introduction of avatars coming along?', he can answer 'I'm very busy just at the moment...'
Just to add that I have an answer removed in my profile and it was when i accidentally submitted something twice when my PC was playing up - so that could be a reason.
Jno - You've rumbled me, nearly! I do not remove posts to appear busy - it is purely vindictive joy!
Spare Ed
PS. the Ed is back moderating and emailing during the day now so I will mainly be flitting in and out to make announcements during the day and occasionally popping on at night and the weekends!
4½ without a response Ed. Hardly call it moderating - but notice you have time to delete completely harmless posts. As commented on another thread: 'I do not know what to make of this site, totally confused.'
Since it replaced AB 1 earlier in the year, confusion has reigned. Nothing more than we expected though . . . . .
