Ladies suits

Does anyone know of a high street shop currently selling a good range of 'darkish' ladies suits (jacket with skirt and/or trousers)?  I need to buy my daughter a suit for the Sixth Form and I have found that during the summer months there aren't too many about.  She is a size 8 and live on the edge of London, so can travel in.  Thanks.
