I did it slowly and sensibly. W.W is good as its a well balanced diet with all the nutrients the body needs. Slimmers world is also good, however, with the red/green days its sometimes can lack certain nutrients and me having a busy job/lifestyle I found that w.w suited me best.mIts all about changing habits and i agree its so hard, i still struggle now, but its worth it when you start to see results
I've only ever tried WW and that was some time ago now, but my guess is that they all can help in terms of reminding you each week what you are trying to do; and giving an incentive to have dropped a bit each week to avoid the embarrassment of admitting having not done so. Otherwise most of what they offer you could do for yourself, but the incentives are useful.
If I were you I'd pick one at random and try it. If it doesn't suit, try a different one.

I did WW many years ago, and lost 1 1/2 st....I then did SW - on my own. I lost 1 1/2 st on that also, and have pretty much kept it off until recently when my activity level changed. Now-with about 8lb to loose, I will definitely do it again. I loved the red/green choices...and now they have a new program that combines the 2. Contrary to what has been said-it is a very well-balanced diet. I was never hungry, and ate masses.
