Uploading/scanning photos.

Hi all, need a bit of advice. I'm something of a technophobe, so the answer is not obvious to me.

I took some pics the other night on a disposable camera I found in the bathroom cabinet. I've had the photos developed and they came out really well. Can I upload them somewhere like photobucket by scanning them, or can this only be done with through a digital camera? Please don't laugh at me. :-(

I believe if you first scan the photo, then save it, then upload it.

Why would anyone laugh at you? You could probably also take the negatives to the chemist and have them put them on a CD for you if you don't have a scanner. The chemist up the road from me do that, maybe one near you does too.

Probably doesn't help now but usually when you get photos developed you get an option of having them on a cd. If you do this then you effectively have digital photos from a film camera.

If you have negatives it may even be possible to do it from them, but I couldn't say for certain.

This is backwater Spain. That probably would have tested them to the limits....

Ok... I will try the scan, save, upload option. If you don't here from me in the next couple of days... I'm still trying to figure it out...

I think it just ended up in a box when we moved back to the Villa in September, and somehow ended up in the bathroom cupboard, Vibes. You know what it's like when you pack boxes and move. Don't get inferring anything rude now....
