What train station do I book if I want to get off at the main new shopping area in Liverpool, is it Central or Lime Street ?

Your choice of station might be dependent upon where you're travelling from. 'Liverpool ONE' is close to James Street, Moorfield and Central stations, which serve the Wirral and local lines. Lime Street is a bit further way (but still within walking distance). That's where you'll arrive from most other parts of the country.

i agree with buenchico, any of those stations would be fine, and within walking distance, and youd pass some great shops on your way to Liverpool One!
