I have aquired some hard drives, with win 95/98 installed, and in tend to resell them. Do i have to wipe them clean to avoid breaking the microsoft license agreement. Is so how do I do it, so that the buyers have a blank drive ready to install what ever they want?

Place the HDD in a host machine as the only HDD and boot from the floppy. At the command prompt type fdisk This is a utility to alter partitions. Choose option 3 to delete all primary, extended and logical partitions on the disk. Reboot and the HDDs will be like new. Alternatively, get a low level formatter such as maxllf.exe and put it on a bootable floppy. Low level format the drive to get it just like new. Make sure you remove your own HDD from the machine to avoid accidentally deleting the partition on this.
