Just throwing this out there incase anyone has any suggestions! I am doing a dissertation on the life cycle analysis of concerts and how to reduce there carbon number. I am looking for books on life cycle analysis, current lighting techniques vs greener alternatives and other greener solutions to running a concert.

OMG! I have worked for the last 10 years or so at festivals (eg. Glastonbury, The Big Green Gathering) where we deal exactly with this.
My job is stage manager and performer.
We have had stages/PAs/sound desks/lighting all powered by solar, wind or pedal (seriously) power and the whole focus is on sustainable/re-newable energy use.
We have had full-on gigs -packed out- using this sort of set up.
Ask away and I'll do me best or pass you on to someone else who can help.

missed out last year mustard, was going to go with my lad, we watched springsteen sadly at home:-( not sure if i'd want to do the litter picking,but my lad might be up for it just to be there, is there a website?
