Can anyone help me?

Hi i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what this is? Over the last few days i've had flu symptoms but also really bad ear pain in my right ear. I went to the docs and she said it wasn't an infection and just gave me some drops which don't seem to be working. This side of my head feels stuffy and i have some hearing loss and get a little dizzy sometimes plus the area behind and slightly below the ear seems to be a bit tender. The pain is unbearable with out painkillers and i'd just like to find an answer. Thanks

I had something similar and it also gave me really bad headaches, it turned out to be muscles in my neck causing the pain, had some acupuncture and it has improved but apparently i am going to be prone to it, and I have to be aware of my posture and not holding my head in one position for too long such as working on a computer all day. Hope it helps,my ear was also hurting and at one point hearing was muffled, and felt like it does when u get water in it.
