Stress levels must have increased with these establishments ! which are all 0870 numbers at 10per minute, just to be talked down to..lol
even contacting my bank by phone is a nightmare..

When I worked in the BT accounts office we used to take it in turns to give the customers a false name when answering the phone (while the boss was away). I once spent a week as Ida Downs.......

Having said that one job I had showed up the not so nice side of customers. When working as an Outstanding Accounts Officer aka debt collector I have had dogs set on me, being threatened with knives on several occasions, and once had a sawn-off shotgun waved in my face.............happy days.

I have had to use BT call centre in India recently and the
guy was lovely but I could understand his accent , a lot of
the staff can't speak English that I can understand , so I email
them ,easy option .
