On a thread (that vanished) someone said that they felt English culture was being eroded

I asked what English culture was but didn't get much of an answer

What is English culture - surely not Warm Beer and Morris dancers

I agree with most of the points mentioned. I try to be an ambassador for Britain when I travel abroad being kind, polite and helping others etc etc.

However I would never say I was English when someone asks me where I am from I always say 'British', partly because I feel ashamed to be labelled as 'English'.

I also hate the way everyone lives out their lives on social networking sites nothing is private anymore. That is changing our 'culture' and the way we interact with one another for the worst. I think that is more a global thing though.
