Favouries Bar not displaying favourites.
Hi, all, can anyone help please. This isn't important, just annoying me, and I can't see why it's not working. When I save a web page to my favourites, all is well. However, if I then try to save the same page to the Favourites Bar, nothing happens. But using Explorer, the pages are in the Favourites Bar folder. I can select the sites ok by bringing up the favourites from the favourites button on the extreme left of the toolbar, but it would be nice if I could access them directly from the toolbar. Windows Vista Home Basic is the Op/Sys. Any suggestions gratefully received (clean ones, that is!!).

Thanks for taking the time to reply, Ray.
Switching to Firefox is dead easy. Simply download the set-up file from here:
http://download.mozil...3.6&os=win&lang=en-GB
and run it. (You'll be asked if you want to import your 'favorites' into Firefox's bookmarks). That's all there is to it.
If you don't want to do that, please allow me to draw your attention to this passage from my first link:
"If the Toolbar Favorites folder already exists in the Favorites window, it may be damaged. To create a new Toolbar Favorites folder, drag the existing folder to the trash can, click New Folder on the Favorites menu, name the new folder Toolbar Favorites, and then click Close on the File menu".
Worth a try?
