The chap in the latest ad who wanted to save for an engagement ring and if she says no he would put it towards a sports car, in the updated ad he spent it on the car. He looks like a very young Peter Jones of Dragon's Den fame. Can anyone throw any light on who he is, I have googled and looked at the ad but there is no mention of him. Thanks, Kath.

I sort of knew it wasn't Peter Jones, but he does look a lot like him. Is another-view the name of an ABer, if so why are you surprised they havn't responded yet?

He is very scathing about people wanting to know who actors are. Don't know why as it's the little mind-worms that drive us mad isn't it?

An actor? Surely not. The advert makes it out as though he is a member of the public. Such deceit!

Most adverts use actors that are not well known (unless they are designed to be the star of the ad), after all, a known name could demand a higher fee. Whilst it is likely you have seen the guy on some other TV programme in a small role, often your only bet is someone who knows the guy being a member of The Answer Bank or having worked on the ad in question.
