W-O-M-B
Two Indian doctors working in an American hospital were having an animated discussion.
"I say it's spelt W-R-R-O-O-M," said one.
"No, it is W-O-O-M-B," said the other.
A nurse passing by said, "Excuse me, you are both wrong. It is spelled W-O-M-B."
"Thanks nurse," said one, "but we prefer to settle this argument ourselves. Besides, we don't think you are in a position to describe the sound of an elephant farting underwater."

I was admitting an elderly Asian lady and trying to take down her medical history. The only English speaker in the family was a 7 year old grandson who was translating. On asking what her recent symptoms were, he told be that she had been womitting, I gently told him that the term vomitting was the pronunciation for what he was describing. On probing further back into the ladies history and the question of previous surgical proceedures, he quizzed his Grandma and then earnestly, and with a great deal of deliberatation declared to me that his Nan had her voom removed in 1972.
