i am on exp8 vista home premium,i get on a regular occurance the loss of my browser page,i can be half way reading the page or banking ,then suddenly the page flashes off,
only to return me to desktop,i have a regular a/virus scan and spyware scan does anyone no a answer to this,also i would like to upgrade to 7 but it tells me to uninstall a/v before downloadig,i dont want to do this as on my last machine i uninstalled pc guard and suffered after,could i just turn off all security whilst downloading as pc guard offers that facility.

You don't need to turn off the AV whilst downloading - only whilst installing.
Download and save the files.
Disconnect from the Internet and remove your AV
Install the update
Re-install your AV
Reconnect to the Internet.
