As you can see, this is an infrequently visited Topic... I'd suggest (especially if you're new to the site) posting your quesion in Religion and Spirituality, which is a sub-Topic of Society and Culture... My guess is the Gang of Five (or six or seven) will pounce on the opportunity.. Best of luck!
Don`t quite understand the question, but if you mean a benevolent god , then we are all largely taught that. When things are going wrong we doubt it and when the worst happens we disbelieve it. If you are after more mystical renderings I am too tired, my god has been both good in times of distresss and most cruel in times of despair (sometimes you can`t win) ♥
Haiti earthquake - a teenage girl has been rescued after 16days under a building.
So, if a solitary survivor 16 days after an earthquake is evidence FOR a god, what is the death of over a million under the same rubble evidence of?
I meant to write "a quarter of a million" above, but my point remains unchanged.
There is a known metaphysical human condition in which a person can suddenly experience the sure and certain knowledge that their god exists. It can happen anytime and anywhere. It can happen whether your god is a Christian god, Allah, or even if your god is a particular tree in the Amazonian jungle. It's like an all-time high. No-one knows how or why this happens, but anyone who has undergone this experience will tell you that they know beyond any doubt whatsoever that their god exists. They will not be persuaded otherwise.

This has probably caused more wars than almost anything else - each side has the sure and certain knowledge that they are 100% right and the others are totally wrong.
Saen Connery is proof enough that there is a God ...

... and that he loves us girls.
Sure enough, H, but lots of other people suddenly experience the sure and certain knowledge that they are Napoleon. Thereafter, they spend their days strutting around with one hand tucked under the lapel of a great-coat, planning the invasion of England. Granted, this happens behind high walls, but what the hey! Cheers
St. Thomas Aquinas had a number of interesting proofs og God in Summa Theoligica.

My favourite runs along the lines of "some things are more beautiful than others - a rose more beautiful than a dung heap. So there is a scale of beauty and at the top is something of absolute beauty - we call this God"

Of course you don't have to be a genius to undermine this - just point out that whilst a rose is more beautiful than a dungheap by common consent who is to say a rose more beautiful than an iris

What is interesting is that he felt compelled to make these arguments in a world we think of as Universally religious
No cat has two tails. One cat has one more tail than no cat. Therefore a cat has three tails. Now make up a similarly sound argument that there is a god - I know of no other means of proving the existence of god. By the way, there are countless groups who insist their version of god is correct and all others wrong (as often pointed out). Since generally each claims to have proof (usually simply by pointing to some scripture), does that mean there are that many different gods ? Does that perhaps in turn mean they are trying to score points off each other by demonstration of their power, such as creating mayhem and challenging the other to sort it out ? Well, maybe, at least that would fit in with the pattern that all gods are man-made and generally tend to be as vain as despotic human tyrants have historically been. I rather hope there is at least one god if only to eventually prove that all suggestions put forward to date are way off the mark. I am unconvinced and continue to wait.
God needs faith to exist.
Proof of God's existence dispels the need for faith.
Result...God disappears in a puff of logic.

There is no evidence any of you exist. Theanswerbank system ops writes all this nonsense.
