Electric sonic toothbrushes - oral B vs Sonicare?

Does anyone have any views or advice as to which sonic toothbrush is best please? I hear people rave about Sonicare. However I can get the Oral B ones cheaper as a family member works there - is the Oral B Sonic Complete as good as the Sonicare?

you're going to find it tough to find someone who has tried both.

I have a sonicare, and think it's great.

The Sonic Complete is definately not as good as Sonicare. Sonicare is the best electric toothbrush on the market and it makes your teeth feel really smooth and clean all day. I've tried the Braun and its ok but it broke down, so I treated myself to a Sonicare and so pleased I did!

I haven't used a sonic toothbrush but my Dental Hygienist tells me everytime I see her that I should buy an Oral B toothbrush. I asked her what type and she said any from the Professional range. (ps Don't think she's on commission!)

I have tried both and i prefer the oral b just because the head is smaller and i prefer the smaller head.

I know you can get a mini brushhead for the Sonicare because I've seen them in the shops and mine came with a mini and standard brushhead.

Thanks for all your answers. For some reason I didn't get any emails to tell me I had responses so sorry for the delay. I've now asked for one for my birthday so will just have to wait and see what I get!
