The scriptwriters seems to be missing a point. Archie left it to Roxy in his will but was it his in the first place? He acquired it illegally though blackmailing Ian. Am I correct in thinking that it is still legally Ian's if he wants it? Come to think of it, why is Phil being so stoical about it, bearing in mind the way Ian shafted him?

it belongs to whoever's name is over the door and on the deeds and for that to be legal is a long process that in soap time takes 2 minutes but in real time would take 6 - 8 weeks depending on the licensing sittings and the solicitors doing the searches and necessary paperwork
