My mum died just over 2 years ago stoke.......funny it never really hit me until Mothers Day the next year.........very sad but I suppose the natural order of things....
Not a lot has changed for me in the last 3 years to be honest.
Same job , same house and same wife.
However I feel we have grown apart a bit more in the last 3 years.
isnt it strange how we just sort of ''plod'' along...and i thought it was just me lol...sorry about your mum craft....things are never quite the same are they when you lose a parent??....maybe its time to put a bit of zest in your marraige sirrandraven lol....[only joking m8]....lol
Had 5 operations on broken ankle, none of which worked so now disabled. Had to sell flat as couldn't manage the stairs losing money in the process. Moved twice into rented property. Lost job so now living on benefits. Defintely poorer and sadder but fortunately I have a wonderful husband who has been really supportive throughout it all. Just a good job I have a sense of humour. Oh and vodka!
The local pub where I used to get my lunch after delivery has shut down because it relied on the local college for trade and after rebuilding work was finished, that moved down the road. Not that it matters though because as a result of RM's insistence that we delivered more, I aggravated a foot condition and cannot do the job any more - just waiting for ill health retirement. Will defo be poorer once that is finalised, though hopefully initially quids in. Got to sell my house though.
So much has changed, been in hospital for the first time, nearly died, got the all clear from the Dr's,got married, discovered this place, had short hair for the first time in decades, lost weight, put on weight and had my first manicure.Nah,not much has changed!!
hi wizard....used to live in trentham but moved up to ash bank just up the road from the hotel, not my idea but mrs mavericks...you know the score wizard...bigger drive, bathroom blah blah blah...and a bigger mortgage as well lol.....
happier?, sadder? ... suppose it varies depending on when you ask me. More moodier, or mardyer as they say round here. Richer?, poorer? ... poorer since other half reduced her hours since our 5 year old was born. Still have same job, same house, same car,
