i've never seen this film, so i was wondering if someone could tell me...what is it about & is it any good?

i like films like Donnie Darko, Elephant, Thirteen, The Crow...etc, so would i like it?

You'll love it. metagirl is right about the plot, its pretty intense but right up your street I imagine.

An amazing film. I have seen it lots of times and even though it leaves me with an empty feeling, I must watch it again and again! (Not that I crave this kind of feeling!...)

aronovsky directed this film, he also directed pie. The movie is a fantastic anti-drugs film..if the plot doesnt tempt you..jennifer connolly and the amazing soundtrack should.

A truly excellent film, very entertaining for one thing. If you're into this kind of thing, it's worth watching the DVD extras too, they do some cool stuff.

And some unusual editing work too, which I really liked.

This is such an excellent film, i can't recommend it enough. However, it is one of the most depressing films i've ever seen and wouldn't much want to see it again, does that make sense? Defo worth a watch though.
