They didn't get back to us today. Apparently the other people have 24 hours to decide so they should let us know by 10.30 am. I'm not sure if the long delay is good or bad news. Bloody annoying though cos we were supposed to look at another flat tomorrow morning but they rang and cancelled. Apparently it had been advertised wrongly as ground floor and is a first floor flat so no good to me as I can't manage the stairs. Bloody useless housing association.

We've been registered with the Housing Association for just over a year but I've been sleeping in the living room now for a year and a half. It's such a pain. We had to sell our flat because that was first floor, losing money in the process. A friend is letting us rent his house while we wait for the housing people to find us somewhere.

I havent a clue how things like that work over there Jan but it sounds really frustrating - hopefully tomorrow will bring good news

It's all very complicated now peri. There are different bands and you are allowed 3 bids every fortnight on available properties then it's sorted by what band you're in and how long you've been on the list. Then they show the top three people the property and if the first one turns it down it's up to the second and so on. We have never been first on any properties, only second or third so we know if it's a nice property the person above us will take it. All very frustrating!

We are currently in Band B and that is because of my health but I am going to ask my doctor to write to them again because it's not helping with the depression. I am getting so fed up. We have so many unpacked boxes and black bags because this was only supposed to be temporary.

Anyway enough moaning. Tomorrow may bring better news so nite for now. xxxx
