What's the going rate for grazing horses in South East England, specifically South Cambridgeshire?
Is it calculated at so much for each horse or at so much an acre (in this case 10 acres, complete with a block of six loose-boxes (stables) ) ? Does the rate change if there's stabling? By how much?

so much per horse, those that dont need stabling charge less ,those with stabling the going rate here is about 25-00 a week and you are lucky if you get as much as half an acre per horse ,water is included but no bedding or feed and a lot dont have electric either good luck
meant to say between 10 and 15 pound without stabling
we were paying £10 a week for grazing for our two horses during the hot summer of 1976 when our field was burnt with the sun.

ruthann, I'm twelve miles from Newmarket but I think I've already got someone much closer who's interested and it may not be difficult to find others. I just didn't know what I should be asking.Thanks.
