I've never actually seen a bulldog do this, but we've just had someone in our office that's doing a pretty damn good impression thereof. Can't name names, but she's the most miserable moaning depressing old hag since my Aunty Joy (very in-aptly named.....)
What other expressions do you like, or are particularly amusingly descriptive?

Face like a dropped meat pie...
Round here we say 'like a bulldog licking p1ss off a thistle'
I know a couple of people it describes perfectly..

I wouldn't say she was ugly but it looked like her face was on fire and someone put it out with a cricket bat.

That's funny, but almost graphically near-pornographic....
She fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
Face like a smacked elbow

face like a robbers dog (actually this applies to ugly people)

face like a half eaten apple
I'd actually written

face like a smacked arrrrrse but somehow it automatically turned into elbow....clever AB software or what

"She's (But definitely NOT Salla) got a face like a bag of slapped tw@ts" is the terminology of the icy, frozen smoglands of the People's Republic of Teesside
