fitting a stereo in a 01 peugot 206

Hi,just got my friend a stereo for her car.the car is a '01 peugot 206.it already has a tape player in it but I got her a pioneer cd player. the new stereo is smaller and a different shape to the unit thats already in the car which is kind of an oval shape.is there any way of getting the new one installed so that it fits properly or does it have to be a specific model to fit into the peugot?thanks.

do a search on e-bay. the cd player will be designed to fit a din sized aperture. lots of people make adaptor plates which fill in the hole left by the original stereo, leaving the right sized slot for your radio to fit in.

 My sisters Ford Ka needs an adaptor that the CD player fits in. Your 206 is probably the same type of thing.
