I was recently arrested and have been bailed for the above offence. In a nut shell I was out in a bar I have gone in for 4 years, I had quite a bit to drink, felt sick so went to the toilets whilst on the way to the toilets was sick but held it in till I got to a basin, I couldnt control it. There was a toilet attendant who started shouting "You cant do that" Ihad no choice. He says I then called him a black B##*** which I dont remember. I musst say at this point I am not one bit racist. Anyway I was thrown out by the doorman for being sick in the sink and being drunk, which I will admit. The doorman was in my face outside so I was arguing back with him, I then pushed him (once in the chest) he dived on me took me to the ground and pinned me there with his knees. This was all on cctv. When I was on the floor and he was on top of me it was not very clear what was happening on the cctv you could just see the side of his head, shoulders and my legs. At some point he had hit me in the jaw causing a bit of brusing which was only visable once I was let out of the police station and had a shave. I am concerned more about the racist element of this as its not like me. Could anybody tell me what the outcome could be if it go's to court. I have to go back to the police station in a months time, at which time the police should have completed their enquiries. I have been in trouble befor about 3 years ago for criminal damage (again when drunk) Thanks in advance for any info
