The East Hill lift, and The West Hill Lift.
The better of the two(for views during the journey) is the East Hill Lift,as the West Hill Lift passes through the cliff which cuts out any view.
The East Hill :Liftcomes up in a country park, great for walks with the dog,and The West Hill Lift takes you to the top of Hastings Old Town, with great views over it and the sea,and a nice cafe.

However,if you want to see a really interesting Funicular,go The Keas at Folkestone. It is not as long as the Hastings ones,BUT it is the ONLY one still operating in the original manner, namely by water being used to weigh the carriages and take them down!
At the moment it is undergoing restoration, but here is a picture of it in full operation.
