she casually dropped into the conversation she did not want any cards with 60 on them, why do people want to hide their age? I don't undersatnd this at all, now I haven't a clue what to do with the card !

When I was 50, some years back, my family laid on a birthday party in our garden. One of my oldest friends from school was there & she had been 50 in the February. I said to her "How does it feel to be 50 J?" She went beetroot red, didn't answer & looked away. The reason being, was that she hadn't been married very long to her much younger partner & she'd told him she was a year younger than she really was! He soon cottoned on though & just laughed!

Very silly, as age has a way of catching up with you anyway!

I don't feel a day over 40 !
Make her a card with 1950 splashed all over it, then you won't have actually put the dreaded '60' on the card will you?
