The Ed says it is "dishonourable" to ask questions when the setter has asked not to.
Perhaps those wishing to enrich themselves in such a fashion should stand for parliament.
poodledoo is a member of another forum on which this quiz was discussed and should be well aware of the setters wishes.
I will keep surfing this site in an effort to protect the better quizzes from the lazy answerers - although stopping them will be like trying to knit fog!

It doesn't annoy me - I have a life outside of my computer and I usually feel Ok about myself by not being petty and small minded.
I am only trying to defend the quizsetters from ignorant people.
Do you get annoyed when you make a polite request and it is ignored or trampled all over? Do bad manners grate on you?

I'm with you 100% quizmaster but I am also aware that squarebear would certainly go out of his/her way to answer if I ever dare to even mention the closing date is a long way off so do tend to keep my opinions to myself or I know they will ruin more of the quizzes than they do now
I do suggest though squarebear you real the whole of the thread you posted the link to
and agree its does say
. It is "dishonourable" to go against the wishes of the setter

Can I just say, it took me 2 minutes to Google this and get the answer. I probably got it quicker than it took the poodledoo to post the question. I think the days of people doing quizzes based on their own knowledge are long gone since it is so easy to look things up now, but I'm sorry if I trod on anyone's toes by answering, I just thought I was helping out and wasn't aware that some things were no go areas.
karenmac60 - its not a question of no go areas as this is an answer site its the fact it is widely known on my forum which this asker is a member and by a great many on here I ask people not to ask for answers (Oddbods is my quiz btw) and in fact the quiz is designed so that the answers are in fact on the quiz in one form or another. All the answers are found by google as I tested this before selling it to eliminate the need to ask. I realise you probably wasnt aware of any of this but the person who asked was and I was under the impression that if the setter requested their quiz wasnt asked this would in fact be respected. I was obviously mistaken on this. You answered in good faith without being aware of any of this but certain people on this forum clearly were.
