It's shrove tuesday in next weeks i think, i may give up chocolate and possibly crisps. I'm making pamcakes but the idea is to eat up all the food in the house that is considered a luxury or treat and deprive yourself of it for the 6 weeks and then on easter sunday we get easyer eggs to remond us of our suffering. mmmm, I'd have to but in stuff to make decent pancakes, I've no ice cream in, no syrup, bet I've no mincemeat left from christmas either.

Suppose it's what branch of the Christian
faith you're raised or indoctrinated in to ..
but old habits die hard ...so I will be giving
up something for Lent , yet to be decided !
