Someone has put ALL of my details on numerous vile sex webistes. The only thing i have is the email account of who said it up which they have created for me.
Is there anyway I can trace the IP address of where this is created?
I really want to go to the police but want more information before I call them.

Please help!

there is no way you can find that information your self, contact the police but depending on what country the sites are hosted in they may not be able to do anything either.

Hi Nannon, this e-mail account which you say you have, is it an actual e-mail which you received????
If it is and it is in Outlook express, then by right clicking on the e-mail heading you can go to Properties/ Details/ Message Source and get some information from there such as Mail Host, the ISP and the IP Address which may be of some help to you.
You can also go to www.ipaddresslocation.org and possibly find out the ISP owner, the organisation using it and where they are based.

Hi - I havent received an email from the address, one of the websites kindly gave me the email address that was used to post the advert. He also gave me an IP address, I shall have a look at that site now- thank you!
