Anyone stayed at the Haven 'Kiln Park' at Tenby, South Wales? What did you think?

Lol flippin eck!!! I am sure that's the park we honeymooned in in 1978, acrually I am absolutely positive it is!!! It was very good back then, close to the town, we nearly lost the £20 deposit cos i left breadcrumbs in the grillpan! That was the first glimpse I had of my ex-husbands tendancy to get angry over trivia !!! I can certainly tell you that they have been going along time and are obviously still goping strong!

A lot of their sites are now run down and neglected sadly. Ive been to the one in Ayr and its awful.
Whereas these places used to be geared up towards family fun, its now all about profit.

It wasn't Haven when we were there though, it was a family run site, mind that is 31 years ago lol We stayed at a haven in Great Yarmouth in 1991, that was ok, the 3 children loved the kids club. You would think that with the supposed change in destinations these days , the UK sites would be top notch. Have you seen the new Butlins accomodation?

No-one been recently then? The bumf reads well and they promote their parks with nice images... ah well, it's booked, so fingers crossed!
