Got a real nasty feeling that I've been conned.....Anyone else purchased this registry cleaner and been satisfied with it or it's service? I've just noticed that people as early as 2005 have also complained of being conned and not being able to get in touch with the Company. Would appreciate any feedback....Thanks John.

Anyone who buys ANY registry cleaner has been conned. How could a program know what you do and don't need in your registry?

Aint bin doin it long enough to know that! john
As a general rule (as you are new to computers):

1) Any program that pops up messages on your computer saying your have bugs or viruses, and then says they will fix them for you (for a fee) is a con. NEVER pay any money for one of these programs (your credit card details could well be stolen).

2) As "another-view" says, most registry cleaners are a con. They dont magically speed up your computer and can often STOP it working by removing things from the registry. I have been working in computers for 30 years and NEVER felt the need to run a registry cleaner.

3) Before buying ANY software ask on this forum, or other forums, what people think of it. There may well be better products, or even free products that do the same thing (almost ALL products you can buy have a free alternative).

I pay the £25.65,got the unlock code and it didn't work..Emailed their "technical dept." with my problem 4 times over the week and got 4 identical emails back. "THE CODE BELOW WILL OPEN REGISTRY PATROL" It did,nt..There are numerous complaints going back to at least 2005, so why hasn't this site been removed? Anyway, thats how come I was conned...Both sites are very plausable... Once bit.... Thanks again for your interest. John
lots of people will tell you that "cc cleaner" is the best one (and free) around and has a lot more than registry cleaning on it

Thanks Deggers....tried it once, but I'm pretty sure iv'e got a "trojan" or something that keeps doing funny things (like re-ordering an order we had six months earlier) and I reckon c.cleaner upset him! John
Try downloading Malwarebytes and running a "quick system scan". That should clear any nasties on your PC.
I agree about downloading and running some free antimalware and antispyware software. I have Malwarebytes also Superantispyware. Both have free versions available. Others are SpyBot, AdAware which also have free versions available. Other people will have their own preferences.
You can try as many of these as you want and when you find ones that work you can delete the rest.
