When shopping I tend to buy what I want without bothering to look at the prices. Today when I was in Asda I noticed that 1/2 pound of Lurpak was £1.36. I couln't believe it. ( I think I must have been asleep for the last couple of years) I love Lurpak, but now I know the price of it, will I carry on buying it? I would like to say no, but I know I will.
The thing is I know what I like and I like Lurpak. I was brought up on margarine, I'm not complaining about that, but now to me if it's not Lurpak it tastes like margarine.
Hiya DEN. I asked the seller if he would mind offering it to the second highest bidder (there was only a £2 difference). He didn't sound overly pleased but I hope he sees my side of things and gets the quick removal he wants.
I was thinking after I read your post yesterday Mrs. C - suppose he had'nt got any bids and it never sold - would he have still put it outside - I bet he would'nt have put that on his listing either.
Sounds like a good result though Mrs C. apart from you never got your stove.
Den xx
Thanks DEN. I got the impression he was very keen to get rid of it to make room for a wood burner which he was taking delivery of this weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if he was willing to just scrap it. He told me he wasn't bothered how much it went for, as long as it was out of his kitchen by this weekend.
I hope he managed it. And I also hope he doesn't leave me a neg. I don't think he will as I felt that he (sort of) agreed that it was a mistake for him to leave time limits off the listing.
mrs.c it freezes ok , just defrost at room temp, semi-skimmed
milk freezes well but not full fat .Happy shopping if I see a person with
a trolly load of butter I will know who you guys are !!!!
I never pay more than £1 for any butter, buy when on offer and freeze it! Sainsbury had farmhouse butter from the fresh counter for £1 at the beginning of the week.
