With the help of you lovely ladies on here I think i can just about make some dumplings now. The trouble is they're supposed to go into a home-made stew whereas my stews eminate from the freezer and then go on to the microwave for a few minutes.
Is there another way to cook them so they eventually all meet up on my plate?
I halve the mixture then with one half i roll into balls the size of a golf ball flour them and put them in the steamer (1st Layer. with the other half I add a handfull of sultana's & little sugar, again roll into balls & flour put in 2nd layer of steamer.
Not only have you got delish dumplins you've got spotted dick too. Open a tub of custard and Bobs your uncle.... so to speak.
